We spent three days in Katherine, then headed for Lake Argyle near Kununurra. On the way we passed through the spectacular country of The Gregory National Park with the Victoria River at its heart.  The Lake Argyles park is pressed up against the dam wall and has magnificent views from the swimming pool, called the Infinity Pool, right up this man made lake. This is a beautiful place. However, compared to some of the most sacred Aboriginal sites we have visited, it certainly lacked that heart. Pleasant, but superficial. We did a wonderful sunset tour on the lake and saw a Jabiru as well as an immature sea eagle.

  2. Thanks Liz. Glad you are enjoying them. Unfortuneately, I am unabe to post the overflows in the separate tabs anymore as I am limited to 20 tabs and have used them all up. The trip has been amazing and Australia has to be seen to be believed, but I thought I already knew that and then I drive around the next corner and I am blown away. Hope to see you in September. Love from Viv
